General rules for fire protection of ceramic fiber blankets

Ceramic fiber blankets, also known as aluminum silicate fiber blankets, are called ceramic fiber blankets because one of their main components is alumina, which is the main component of porcelain.

The ceramic fiber blanket is mainly divided into a ceramic fiber spray blanket and a ceramic fiber silk carpet. The ceramic fiber silk carpet has a long thermal conductivity and is superior to the ceramic fiber spray blanket in terms of heat preservation performance. Most of the insulated pipe construction uses ceramic fiber silk carpet.

Below we talk about the general provisions of ceramic fiber blanket wall fire prevention, we can refer to:

       1. Filling materials for window walls and window sill walls shall be made of non-combustible materials. When the outer wall surface is made of a non-combustible body having a fire resistance limit of not less than 100 h, the in-wall filling material may be a hard-to-burn material.

  1. For glass curtain walls without window walls and window sill walls, non-burning solid skirts with a fire limit of not less than 100h and a height of not less than 0.8m shall be provided on the outer edge of each floor.
  2. The gap between the ceramic fiber blanket and each floor and partition wall should be tightly filled with non-combustible materials.

High-temperature insulation of aerospace, steel, petrochemical and electric power; fire insulation of military equipment; industrial furnace, heating device wall lining, backing insulation insulation; high temperature equipment insulation; high temperature pipeline insulation; electrical components insulation fire; high temperature gasket Inorganic fire shutter door refractory layer; module, folding block raw materials.

Above, I hope to help everyone.
