Main production methods and processes of ceramic fiber blankets

The main production methods and processes of ceramic fiber blankets:
When the bulk fiber blank is sent to the needle punching machine, the “needle-making blanket” is developed by reference to the non-woven needle punching technology. Due to the hook-shaped stitches on the needle, the fiber layers are closely intertwined with each other to improve the tensile strength and wind erosion resistance of the fiber blanket.

The main production methods:
There are two main types of resistance furnaces and electric arc furnaces.

The forming method of the fiber is divided into a blowing method and a twisting method.

The melting of ceramic fiber raw materials generally uses an electric furnace as a melting device.

Process flow:

Arc method of blowing into fiber, wet felting process:

The stream is formed and the raw material is added to the electric arc furnace for melting.

The stream is injected into the fiber by compressed air or steam, and after being slag removed by the slag remover, the cotton is gathered to form waste fibers. The waste fiber is sent to a stirring tank to vortex and slag, and then sent to a storage tank to apply a binder to form a slurry. The slurry is subjected to press molding or vacuum suction filtration to form a ceramic fiber blanket.

Electric resistance blowing (or twisting) fiber forming, dry needle punching carpet process:

According to different fiber-forming methods, ceramic fiber blankets have two production processes; resistance-blowing (including flat-blowing and vertical-blowing) fiber-forming, dry-needle-forming carpeting; resistance-resisting filament-forming, dry-needle-forming Blanket craft.
